MONTE CARLO — Whiskey aficionados can celebrate Whisk(e)y Wednesdays at Andre's. Look for a lineup this month that includes Balvenie 12 year double wood, 14 year Caribbean cask and the 15 year single barrel, concluding with a mystery glass for a little fun. The event takes place every Wednesday from 5:30 p.m. to close. TOWN SQUARE — Francisco Rodriguez of was named best pizza chef in the California Pizza Kitchen competition held last month in Florida. Each of the three finalists were asked to create a California Pizza Kitchen Original BBQ Chicken Pizza and their own original creation for a panel of celebrity judges, which included actor Steve Schirippa from HBO's The Sopranos. Each chef was judged on their hand tossing technique, baking, showmanship, creativity and cravability. Rodriguez not only won the title but $10,000 in prize money. [EaterWire]
