Status: Opened on Monday

The ramen craze continues in Las Vegas. Koraku Ramen, Shoku Ramen-ya from the owners of Bachi Burger and Fukumimi Ramen are just some of the new entries in the market. Now Monta Ramen Japanese Noodle, the godfather of Japanese noodles in Las Vegas, has expanded its reach to Henderson, opening Monta Chaya yesterday at Eastern and Serene.

The Kurume-style tonkotsu ramen house uses a broth made from pork bones along with a soy sauce imported from Japan. Connoisseurs consider Kurume ramen the original tonkotsu ramen.

The 1,343-square-foot space is open daily from 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Look for the same menu as the original location on Spring Mountain Road in Chinatown as well as six new appetizers.
