LAS VEGAS — Capriotti's is on the hunt for national models. The Vegas-based sandwich shop wants real fans to be the new faces of the brand. Fans who send in a photo of themselves at Capriotti's or eating their favorite sub to Marketing@capriottis.com may be called to a private photo shoot from 3 to 7 p.m. on location at Capriotti's on April 13. All chosen to attend the event will receive free sandwiches and be treated to a full photo shoot, with a chance at being one of the new faces of Capriotti's. Fans can be all ages, so feel free to submit pictures of the little ones eating their favorite kids' meals as well. VENETIAN/PALAZZO — The resorts will award $12,000 in new scholarships over the next three years to culinary students at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. The James Beard Foundation is administering the culinary scholarship. All students pursuing an undergraduate degree in the culinary arts management program at UNLV are eligible to apply. The scholarships are available on a competitive basis and will be awarded in the amount of $4,000 over the course of three years, starting in the 2013-2014 school year calendar.
