All next week, Eater Vegas is taking a look at perennial favorite — hamburgers. Vegas Burger Blog plans to run a tournament-style poll in conjunction with Eater Vegas to determine who has the best burger in Sin City. Today, Erik Chudy announced the 32 contestants in the single-elimination brackets, with matchups starting April 15.

Among the contestants, the vaunted Bachi Burger, a one seed, facing off against Fuddrucker's. Hubert Keller's Burger Bar goes up against the high-calorie versions at Heart Attack Grill. Newcomer View Wine Bar at Tivoli Village competes against I Love Burgers. The burgers at Public House vie against California's Farmer Boys outpost. Brits face the East Coast in a battle between Gordon Ramsay BurGR and Five Guys. West Coast favorite In-N-Out Burger squares off against roving food truck Fuku Burger. The surprising Fleming's burger dances with another food truck, Slidin' Thru. Badger Cafe's burgers take on newcomer Poppy Den, while DW Bistro contends with Fat Choy.

Other contenders include Dispensary Lounge, Henry's American Grill, Steiner's Pub, Le Burger Brasserie, Stripburger, Holsteins Shakes and Buns, Crown & Anchor, LBS Burger, Smashburger, P.J. Clarke's, Sammy's LA Pastrami, Grind Burger Bar, KGB: Kerry's Gourmet Burgers and BLT Burger.

The brackets represent a good mix burgers from low-end to high with each linked to Chudy's review of the burger.
